Don't Lie to Me Comcast

So I was watching the Sixers lose to the Raptors when I see on the bottom scroll "Ryan Howard named MVP" and the rest is cut off by my hideously outdated TV (its from like 1995). So I get excited because as a Philadelphia sports fan having a local player win an MVP is at least something to celebrate. Well I excitedly check Google for the article and read that he won the MVP from that stupid Japanese tour. Honestly who gives a fuck? I love Howard, but no one announced when I was MVP of the 10-12 year old in my rec league, so why should I care if Howard was the best player in a tour of games that did not mean anything.

To expand on the Sixers, even though they have lost their last 2 making them 3-2, they have me excited. This looks like a playoff team in the East (which is like being one of the eight best athletes at fat camp), but more importantly we still have Iverson. Having the pleasure of watching him his entire career I can honestly say he is one of the best players ever to play basketball. He is the only sure fire hall of famer I have ever seen in my lifetime in this city, and I cherish every game i get to watch him.
