I'm back...Again
I know all my loyal readers have missed me (Alexis I'm looking in your direction), but I am going to post as much as possible as I enter my three last months in college.
My first duty of business is the NCAA tournament. The early games on the first day were well....predicatable. All the favorites won, and my school, Penn, fought the good fight but the Law won (sorry had to). I went to a bar to view the game and again Penn students impressed me with their basketball IQ. Such actions as chanting during the game, (Defense!, and Let's go Quakers only work if you're at the game), comparing Acie Law IV and Ibrahim Jaaber as players, and cheering when a Texas A&M player got hurt. My favorite though is the lack of people at the bar before or after the game. I was the only person with a Penn shirt on during the other tournament games, because Penn students treat sports the way they live their lives; we only care if it effects us in some direct way. The lack of sports knowledge is sickeningly low making every sports conversation like an episode of Around the Horn.
Apparently I should've listened to my dad and sister and went to Georgetown, Go Hoyas.
