Lance Armstrong

A man had cancer spead from his testicles to his lung and even his brain, he fights off death and illness to become healthy again. Already amazing right, but what if this man was a professional cyclist and competed again after beating cancer. He's near heroic, but what he came back to win not one, not two, but seven straight Tour de Frances. That is the kind of thing that makes a legend. This man fought off death to become one of the best athletes ever, and the French continue to go after him. When this lab came out that they found a urine sample of Armstrong's from 1999 that tested positive the French thought of it as a victory. They see Armstrong as an enemy and continue to try to make him out to be a villain and a cheater even thought they have no proof. They point to the fact that he was not this good of a rider before his cancer, but before his cancer he was very top heavy and through losing top weight and changing his training regiment he became a better rider Since 1999 when the Anti-Doping agency was created he has been tested dozens of times a year randomly. The only possible year he could have cheated was 1999 and even though I think he did not cheat even if he did he was coming off his deathbed and was winning the hardest race in the world. He still won six straight legitimately. He uses ever technology available and works his ass off to be at the top of his sport. Honestly I think the French are just tired of being beat. An American is coming in their country and dominating their native sport and they are jealous. Well as an American I will apologize for winning and for them sucking at everything that makes up life. I can't think of one country that would object to turning France into a landfill.

he abandoned the people that helped him get to where he is... his family... that's no legend.
